The Journey Behind TradingTruth

An algorithmic trader's journey—learning trading concepts through code, then building professional indicators since 2020.

TradingTruth wasn't built overnight. It's the culmination of over five years of dedicated study, countless hours analyzing charts, and a deep commitment to understanding the mathematical and geometric principles that govern market movements.

My journey started as an algorithmic trader. I learned all trading concepts—Wyckoff methodology, Gann geometry, volume analysis, market structure—from an algorithmic trading perspective. My brain works systematically, thinking in code, patterns, and mathematical relationships. This foundation shaped how I understand and implement trading strategies.

Since 2020, I've been developing professional trading indicators, transforming these algorithmic trading concepts into actionable TradingView tools. I've also traded in Funded Trading programs, applying these methodologies in real market conditions. Every indicator reflects this systematic, code-first approach to market analysis.

Years 1-2: The Foundation

2019-2020

I started as an algorithmic trader, approaching trading from a code-first perspective. I discovered the works of Richard Wyckoff and W.D. Gann, and everything clicked—their methodologies revealed that markets follow geometric patterns, cycles, and structural laws that could be systematically coded and automated.

I learned all trading concepts through the lens of algorithmic trading. Wyckoff's accumulation and distribution phases became code logic. Gann's angular theory became mathematical relationships. Volume analysis became algorithmic patterns. I backtested everything systematically, learned from losses, and built a systematic understanding of market structure that would later become the foundation for my indicators.

Key Insight

Markets aren't random—they follow geometric and structural patterns that repeat across timeframes and instruments. The key is learning to see these patterns before they fully develop.

Years 3-4: Developing Edge

2021-2022

This is when I transitioned from following others' strategies to developing my own systematic approach. I began combining Wyckoff's supply and demand detection with Gann's angular projections, creating a unique framework that identified high-probability setups before they became obvious to the crowd.

I realized that volume-weighted wave analysis could reveal market structure before price confirmed it. I started tracking geometric cycles—not just Fibonacci retracements, but true angular momentum and time-based cycles that predicted reversals with remarkable accuracy. My trading became more systematic, less emotional, and significantly more profitable.

Breakthrough

Volume-weighted wave analysis and geometric cycle detection could reveal market structure before price confirmed it. This became the foundation of my trading edge.

2020-Present: Building Indicators

2020-Present

Starting in 2020, I began developing professional TradingView indicators. My algorithmic trading background made this transition natural—I was already thinking in code, patterns, and systematic logic. Each indicator represents hundreds of hours of development, testing, and refinement, transforming years of algorithmic trading concepts into actionable tools.

I've also applied these methodologies in Funded Trading programs, trading real capital with real risk management. This practical experience validated the systematic approaches I'd been coding. The Geometric Trading System series emerged from this foundation—combining angular momentum detection, cycle analysis, volume-weighted waves, and Wyckoff principles into cohesive, professional-grade tools.

These aren't just indicators; they're automated versions of the systematic, algorithmic trading analysis I've been developing since the start. Every concept I learned, I learned from an algorithmic trading perspective, and that perspective is embedded in every line of code.

Mission

Share these professional-grade tools with serious traders who understand that trading success comes from systematic analysis, not guesswork. Every trader deserves access to institutional-level insights.

The Methodology

Wyckoff Methodology

Supply and demand analysis through volume-price relationships. Understanding accumulation and distribution phases to identify institutional intent before major moves.

Gann Geometric Theory

Angular momentum and time-based cycle detection. Using geometric relationships between price and time to predict reversals and continuations with mathematical precision. Learned and implemented from an algorithmic trading perspective.

Volume-Weighted Analysis

Combining price action with volume patterns to identify the true strength of moves. Volume reveals what price conceals—the real story of market structure.

Algorithmic Trading Mindset

No guesswork, no emotions. Every indicator follows a systematic, algorithmic framework that removes subjectivity and focuses on high-probability setups based on mathematical principles. This code-first approach is embedded in everything I build.

“Price moves in angles, time moves in cycles. Master the geometry, and you'll see the market's blueprint before it unfolds. Time and price is your compass—everything else is just decoration.”
